Schickel Design

Friends, Clients and Family gathered on December 17, 2006 for an annual open house and holiday celebration at Schickel Design Company on West 14th Street in Cincinnati, OH. Visitors enjoyed a tour of the studio and living space, and had an opportunity to view work in-progress. Projects on display included work for Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati; City Home, a plan for building and renovating for-sale properties in the Washington Park district of Cincinnati; and drawings and models for the Offices of the Diocese of Orlando, FL.

The evening included a Blessing of the studio and home by Fr. Joseph Robinson, pastor of St. Joseph Church. Members of St Joseph church choir led by director Wylie Howell added their spirited voices to the blessing by performing two songs. Visitors were also treated to jazz and choral music provided by the very talented members of the Dorff family. Refreshments included home-baked sweets and delicious fare provided by Chef David of the Symphony Hotel.
