Martha Schickel Dorff, AIA
President & Owner
Martha Schickel Dorff is an award-winning architect who brings a passion for excellence, a rich family history of inspired design, and a creative, collaborative approach to all of her projects. She has a background in both Art and Architecture with a BFA from the University of Cincinnati, and a Masters' in Architecture from Miami University of Ohio. She works with a strong sense of the connection between ideas, history, function, and physical place. Her goal with every project is to bring Schickel Design's depth of training, creativity, and skill to serve the vision of our clients.
Director of Practice Development
Bryan received a degree in Business from UC, as well as his M. Arch from Georgia Tech. Bryan and his wife Summer settled in Atlanta where he spent over 7 years as a designer and project manager with Amy Landesberg Architects. With the arrival of children, the Peter’s returned to their hometown of Cincinnati to be closer to family.
Rebecca Cadena, R.A.
Rebecca received a Bachelor of Art's from the University of Chicago in 2009. Following her time in Chicago, she moved to New York City, where she completed her Master's in Architecture in 2013 from the City University of New York. Cadena worked as a project manager with Mabbott Seidel Architecture, a high-end residential firm in Manhattan. She then worked at Curtis + Ginsberg Architects on larger multi-family affordable housing projects. In 2017, Rebecca returned to Cincinnati to join the team at Schickel Design.
Linda is originally from Pennsylvania, but after a number of relocations, she has been a resident of Loveland, OH for the past 30 years. She received a BS in Secondary Education from Penn State, but has worked mostly in an office setting. Working at several companies through teh years, she's grown from data entry clerk to Receptionist to Unit Manager of Logistics to Office Manager/Bookkeeper. Linda returned to Schickel Design in 2016, and had previously been with Schickel for 6 years.
